At LHPS we follow the 33 principals of Chiropractic. We use them as a guide to assess each individual and what their needs may be. Some of the key principals are ; the belief in an Innate Intelligence within each of us. Principal of Time- every process within us takes time. Limits of Adaptation- our bodies will adapt to what ever environment we consistently put ourselves in. The Nervous system is what carries the messages from our Innate Intelligence to our physical body and controls every cell within us. The state of Dis-Ease can be attributed to a disruption of the Nervous systems ability to relay messages.

Yes- The interesting thing about pain is that our bodies are meant to feel aches and pains. Being able to feel those things, lets us know that our nervous system is still functioning and  transmitting messages. This means in reality I don't want you to be in pain but I like that your body can feel the pains, so then we can address them appropriately. 


Depends a lot upon the current state of the individuals body in a physical, nutritional and emotional aspect. The adjustment process is very much like any other exercise program in that we have to consistently place a specific demand on the body which will result in a predictable tearing down of tissues. We then rest and recover and the body adapts to the new demand.


Like exercise this process is completely different for each individual. Every persons body is different so how they respond to the new demands placed upon them will depend a lot upon how much time you are willing to invest into yourself.
